Two levels are included in the process of children having Canada Dependent Visa for receiving permanent residence.
In the first level, the sponsor of the Canada dependent visa needs to apply for the dependent children sponsorship. The appeal will be processed by the Canadian Case Processing Centre (C.P.C.). Once the sponsorship is accepted by the Immigration, Refugees, and Citizenship Canada (I.R.C.C.), the dependent children containing Canada Dependent Visa must apply for Canada PR.
The processing time for the Canada Dependent visa depends on the nation from where you are applying. If you are sponsoring the Spouse or common-law partner living Canada outside the application may take the processing time of 9-12 months as per the new changes. Previously the average processing time for the Canada Dependent visa in Canada was approximately 24-26 months.
