Overview

The Government of Quebec encourages international workers working in the province of Quebec and foreign students completing a post-secondary studies program in Quebec, to permanently live in the province.

The Quebec Experience Program shortly known as PEQ is a transparent fast-track process leading to Canadian permanent residence for the 02 categories of candidates. The program enables global students and temporary foreign workers to apply for PR from within Quebec, after finishing a period of qualified work or authorized studies.

As with all of the immigration pathways of Quebec, this program enables candidates to apply for a CSQ known as Québec selection certificate. Upon obtaining a CSQ, an applicant becomes qualified to present an official application for Canada PR.
